Product Shield is built by woohooyayapps. We value your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and why. The short version: We don't know who you are, and we don't want to. We only track anonymized events to make the tool better.

• User Activity: We collect anonymized clicks (e.g., when you click "View Deal") and trigger events (e.g., when the Shield finds a match).
• Location: We use IP-based location data at the country/region level to ensure our price matching is relevant to your area.
• Product Data: We analyze the product titles and prices on Amazon pages you visit to find equivalents. This data is not linked to any personal identity.

3. Data Storage

Your "Lifetime Savings" and UI theme preferences are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. We do not have access to this data on our servers.

4. Third Parties

We use PostHog for anonymized analytics. We do not sell or trade your data. We may earn a commission from affiliate links when you click "View Deal," which supports the maintenance of this tool.
